Signiert und datiert oben rechts. Verso mit dem Stempel "Meggendorfer Blätter" und in roter Farbe handschriftliche Nummer "4617" und Künstlername. Fest unter Originalpassepartout, im unteren Passepartoutrand Notation und mit Etikett und Stempel "Drucke für Textierung. Eilt!" versehen.

Hans Maria Glatz war Maler, Illustrator und Werbegraphiker. Die 1911 bis 1918 entstandenen Tempera Vorlagen für die Meggendorfer Blätter knüpfen thematisch an die impressionistische Salonmalerei an. (Sauer allgemeines Künstler-Lexikon S. 63).
Die Meggendorfer-Blätter war ein deutschsprachiges Satiremagazin, erschienen in den Jahren 1903 bis 1928. das auf den Münchener Illustrator Lothar Meggendorfer zurückgeht. (mehr auf wikipedia)

Hans Maria Glatz was a painter, illustrator and commercial artist. The tempera originals for the Meggendorfer Blätter, created between 1911 and 1918, are thematically linked to Impressionist salon painting. (Sauer general encyclopedia of artists p. 63).
