Signiert und datiert in der Darstellung. An den Rändern und in den Ecken Löchlein von Reißzwecken, verso Reste von Graphikklebestreifen. In Höckelmanns Bilder finden sich Motiven aus der Geschichte und Mythologie sowie der gegenwärtigen Welt. Seine Malerei scheint den Blattrand zu sprengen, Tiere, Menschen und Pflanzen wachsen über den Bildträger hinaus.
Indian Ink, wax crayons and gouache on low-grammage cardboard. Signed and dated. The edges and borders with tiny pinholes. Verso rest of graphic-tape. Höckelmann's pictures feature motifs from history and mythology as well as the contemporary world. His paintings seem to burst the edge of the sheet, with animals, people and plants growing beyond the picture support.
